multiCAM Robotics deploys its solutions at EWC 2024
The Esports World Cup (EWC) kicked off in Riyadh from July 3 to August 25, 2024, and multiCAM Robotics was there to capture every moment of it.
Esports events like the EWC are highly dynamic, requiring production solutions that can keep up with the intensity of the matches. With multiCAM Robotics, we bring a level of precision and flexibility to esports broadcasting, allowing operators to seamlessly capture every moment, whether it’s a fast-moving tracking shot across the stage or a close-up of players’ reactions.
Our contribution:
For EWC 2024, multiCAM Robotics deployed a comprehensive setup to enhance the event’s production quality:
- Dolly, Head, Lift, Remote Panel – nos systèmes robotiques ont offert précision et fluidité, permettant de capturer plusieurs angles en temps réel et d’enrichir l’expérience des spectateurs.
- 20 meters of straight and curved rails
– these ensured smooth, uninterrupted tracking shots, capturing all the energy and excitement on stage. - 3 robots on 3 stages – each robot operated independently on its own stage, ensuring complete coverage with synchronized movements to meet the unique demands of each match.
-
1 operator per stage
– maximum efficiency. Each stage was controlled by just one operator, showcasing how automation can streamline production with minimal staff while ensuring high-quality results.
EWC by the numbers:
- 21 game titles covering the most popular esports genres
- 500+ teams and 1 500+ elite players
- An impressive prize pool of over $60 000 000
Held at Riyadh Boulevard City, the event combined top-tier competition with live entertainment, bringing fans closer to the action like never before.
